What began as a way for shop owner Doug Archer to keep busy in retirement quickly turned into a thriving small business in the heart of Midland, ON. Located at the corner of Vindin & Ludlow Street, Huronia Small Engines is easily noticed with an array of brightly coloured machines parked in rows in its often busy parking lot.

We offer equipment, parts, and service for trusted brands like Ariens, Gravely, Cub Cadet & ECHO, Snow Dog along with Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, Toro and many more. We pride ourselves on offering great service at a competitive price for almost a decade.

In 2021 Doug made the hard decision to retire a second time.  His passion and commitment to the community was difficult to step back from.  It was with this decision that Matt and Kyle Beavis took up the continued journey of making Huronia Small Engines an ongoing staple in the community.  With the same great team that has provided service at the shop for the past several seasons remaining to assist with all your small engine needs.  Huronia Small Engines has big plans to continue to service the Midland, Penetang, Tay and Tiny communities for many years to come.
